Wounds Australia welcomes a new Silver Partner - medical compression garment manufacturer SIGVARIS GROUP. The partnership will focus on enhancing education, collaboration and innovation in compression therapy to support improved patient outcomes.

Founded in 1864, the family-owned Swiss company SIGVARIS GROUP has more than 160 years of expertise in developing and manufacturing compression garments designed to support vascular and lymphatic health.

Wounds Australia CEO Jeff Antcliff said the partnership reflects a shared commitment to supporting clinicians and improving patient outcomes in lower limb care.

"Compression therapy plays a critical role in lower limb management. We recognise SIGVARIS GROUP's long-standing expertise in compression therapy and believe partnering with SIGVARIS GROUP strengthens our ability to support clinicians with education and resources that promote best practice and improved patient outcomes," Mr Antcliff said.

SIGVARIS GROUP General Manager Bruce Wilson said the organisation was proud to partner with Wounds Australia.

"This partnership brings practical education, innovative compression solutions, and real‑world resources together to support clinicians in delivering best‑practice limb and wound care," Mr Wilson said. "In 2026, our priority is clear: boost awareness, improve patient outcomes, and simplify access to the right tools for effective wound management across Australia."

Wounds Australia looks forward to working with SIGVARIS GROUP to support professional development initiatives and advance the usage of compression therapy nationally.

Partnering with Wounds Australia

More than 450,000 Australians live with chronic wounds each year, but raising awareness and education on compression therapy can prevent and support the healing of many chronic wounds, which is just one of the reasons Wounds Australia is proud to call SIGVARIS GROUP a Silver Partner.
