Just announced: exclusive VIP Beat the Swell Watch Parties in Perth, Adelaide, Sydney and Brisbane! Our flagship, in-person professional learning event in Melbourne sold out in record time. To keep the education going, our Beat the Swell sponsor – Wounds Australia Platinum Partner Essity – is hosting a series of events around the country and registrations are now open. How to Beat the SwellBeat the Swell Day on 19 February is a new initiative of Wounds Australia with our incredible event partners to spotlight the causes and consequences of lower limb swelling. TV and radio have already picked up on the story to help us educate consumers about when and where to seek help - and now it's your turn! If you're a clinician working with wounds, you will likely have patients with swelling of the legs, ankles and feet. On Beat the Swell Day, we're hosting an expert webinar on how and why swelling happens, and best practice diagnosis and treatment. And it's completely free - but access is limited to free in-person Watch Parties on 19 February, although it will be released more widely later in February. RegisterRead more and register on our events page. Thanks to Essity for hosting these events. Stay tuned to our fortnightly newsletter, The Gauzette, for more news of the webinar's wider release later. And explore free resources for consumers on the Beat the Swell website: woundaware.org. It's all part of Wounds Australia's commitment to helping the nation Be Wound Aware! |
