Conference abstracts submission deadline extended

If you have been thinking of submitting an abstract for the Wounds Australia 2026 Conference, we have good news for you. The abstract submission deadline has been extended to 20 February 2026.

The biennial Wounds Australia Conference is the most anticipated event in the national wound care calendar and if accepted, your abstracts will be included in the 2026 Conference program, published in Wound Practice and Research Journal and considered for judging in three award categories: 

  • Best New Investigator
  • Best Oral Presenter
  • Best Case Study.

Submissions will be judged by members of the Wounds Australia 2026 Conference Committee, co-chaired by two leaders in wound care research and practice: Professor Allison Cowin and Dr Peta Tehan, under blind review.
