Pressure Injury Committee EOIs open now

Expressions of Interest in joining the Pan Pacific Pressure Injury Alliance (PPPIA) Committee are now open to Wounds Australia members. The PPPIA was established between New Zealand Wound Care Society, Hong Kong Enterostomal Therapists Association, the Wound Healing Society of Singapore and Wounds Australia, its funding bodies. We are seeking Expressions of Interest for two Wounds Australia Board-appointed representatives to join a Committee representing the four funding bodies. Two representatives will be appointed by each organisation. About the CommitteeThe PPPIA joins the National Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel (NPUAP) and the European Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel (EPUAP) on the Guideline Governance Group (GGG), the collaboration behind the Prevention and Treatment of Pressure Ulcers/Injuries: Clinical Practice Guideline (the International Guideline) Fourth Edition. The PPPIA Committee will engage individuals and small working groups to assist in the development of the Guidelines, provide quarterly reports to the PPPIA Funding Partners on progress towards Guideline completion and expenditure against budget, and represent the PPPIA funding bodies to the GGG. Appointments to the PPPIA Committee are for two years and EOIs are open to Full Members of Wounds Australia. Attendees will be required to attend quarterly online meetings and contribute regularly to work and discussions between meetings. Our representatives will accountable to the Executive Committees and Boards of the funding partners. EOIs opened on Thursday 4 December and close at 5pm AEDT on 15 January December 2026, with appointments commencing in 2026. Find out how to apply below.
