Explore and share new consumer-facing factsheets from QUT on Be Wound Aware
Wednesday, 22 October 2025

We are excited to share a range of easy-to-use, evidence-based factsheets designed for consumers by experts at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT).

Our Be Wound Aware campaign aims to educate Australia about the basics of good wound care – from caring for a cut or graze to life with a long-term (chronic) wound – and we have partnered with QUT to share their incredible resources.

Sample factsheets from QUT at Be Wound Aware: woundaware.org

They are written in clear and simple language with handy checklists designed to help people with little medical knowledge understand how to heal wounds faster or prevent them from reoccurring. They are:

  • Beautifully designed
  • Printable
  • Easy to understand.

We encourage healthcare professionals to print and share these resources with your clients, which you will find in the factsheets section of our website: woundaware.org.

If you're an Australian living with a wound – or caring for someone who does – please explore the full range of completely free resources on the site.

Our thanks to Professor Christina Parker at QUT for helping us incorporate the factsheets into Be Wound Aware.
