Abstracts open: Wounds Australia 2026 Conference

The biennial Wounds Australia Conference is the most anticipated event in the national wound care calendar. In 2026, we're travelling to Adelaide, 23-26 August, to strengthen networks and navigate new frontiers for better healing! Abstracts open very soon so please consider submitting your work and joining us. Abstracts openAbstracts open on Monday 15 September 2025 on the Wounds Conference website. We're seeking abstract submissions for oral, and poster mini-oral, presentations of original research or case studies. They may cover acute, chronic or atypical wounds, models of care, priority populations or digital health, for example, with a full list of suggested topics available on our conference website. Submissions will be judged by members of the Wounds Australia 2026 Conference Committee under blind review. Accepted abstracts will be included in the 2026 Conference program, published in Wound Practice and Research Journal and considered for judging in three award categories:
2026 CommitteeOur Committee is co-chaired by two leaders in wound care research and practice: Professor Allison Cowin and Dr Peta Tehan.
