Conference 2026 update: date change and programming begins
Wednesday, 23 July 2025

Ahead of the announcement of a large-scale, international event visiting Adelaide in 2026, we have decided to move the Wounds Australia 2026 Conference from October to 23-26 August.

CEO Jeff Antcliff said the decision was strategic, giving delegates and speakers greater certainty in planning their attendance and minimising the potential disruption of a change closer to the Conference.

"Our Conference is the must-attend event of the year for wound care professionals, expert presenters and our valued industry partners, and it is crucial that we lock in dates as soon as possible," Mr Antcliff said. "Due to an unavoidable clash resulting from Adelaide looking set to host a major global event, we made the decision to pull our Conference forward to a date that still allows us to plan an event of excellence."
