Wounds Australia members offering wound care services are invited to add their details to the National Health Services Directory (NHSD) run by Healthdirect.

Healthdirect is one of Australia's preferred sources of evidence-based health advice, and its directory lists providers of health services around the country. Currently, search results for wound care practitioners produced the Healthdirect Service Finder are slim, representing an opportunity for members of Wounds Australia – an official Healthdirect Information Partner through our Be Wound Aware consumer campaign – to promote their services. Simply upload your details via the online form for consideration via Healthdirect.

About the NHSD

Around 150,000 health services are accessible via the NHSD and are searched more than 2.2 million times each month across all platforms by three key user groups: consumers; practitioners and health service providers; and health departments and other health organisations. The NHSD meets an increasing demand from consumers for health provider information via a consumer-friendly interface. We encourage Wounds Australia members to take the time to upload their details to the Service Finder so that more Australians in need of wound care can find the best quality advice and support.
