L&R now available on CWCS: 700+ product options for patients

The Australian Government's Chronic Wound Consumables Scheme (CWCS) has officially launched, giving healthcare professionals a new way to support patients living with chronic wounds. 

Wounds Australia Silver Partner Lohmann & Rauscher (L&R) has more than 700 products listed in the CWCS, giving healthcare professionals multiple options to deliver effective, evidence-based care. 

"The CWCS is an important milestone for wound care in Australia," said Leon Hoare, Managing Director of Lohmann & Rauscher ANZ. "Having such a broad range of L&R products listed means clinicians have access to trusted innovative solutions to meet patients' diverse needs, from wound management to compression therapy."

Products now listed under the CWCS include:

  • Advanced wound care dressings such as Suprasorb® P Sensitive, Suprasorb® Liquacel Pro, and Suprasorb® Liquacel Ag, offering solutions for moisture balance, exudate management and antimicrobial protection. The latest generation silicone foam & gelling fibre solutions are included 
  • Compression therapy solutions like ReadyWrap®, VENOSAN® medical compression hosiery and various Rosidal® compression bandages, supporting venous care and oedema management 
  • Many other products spanning wound contact layers, absorbent dressings, and fixation solutions 

These solutions are widely trusted by healthcare professionals worldwide and are now available under the CWCS to help clinicians deliver tailored care for patients living with chronic wounds.
