"Over nearly five decades, I've been privileged to contribute to the advancement of wound care and stomal therapy and to work alongside passionate colleagues committed to improving outcomes for patients. "It was wonderful to share this special moment with two of my colleagues who were also recognised for their outstanding achievements: Dr Robyn Rayner from Silverchain and Devi Subramaniam from Hall & Prior Health and Aged Care Group for their awards in Excellence in Rural and Remote Nursing and Excellence in Residential Aged Care respectively." Dr Prentice continued: "This award is not just reflective of my journey, but of the progress we've made together as a profession in advancing evidence-based wound care for all Australians."
