Stacey Bradshaw joins EWMA Compression Therapy Expert Group
Thursday, 29 May 2025

Lymphoedema Therapist Stacey Bradshaw has been appointed by Wounds Australia to represent it in the European Wound Management Association's (EWMA) Compression Therapy Expert Group.

The Compression Therapy Programme was established in 2020 to increase the use of and access to compression therapy to reduce harm and optimise treatment. Our valued affiliate EWMA then created the International Expert Group to involve national and international wound management organisations like Wounds Australia to contribute towards our common goal of improving wound care outcomes.

Wounds Australia CEO Mr Jeff Antcliff congratulated Mrs Bradshaw on her appointment.

"It is an honour for Wounds Australia to be invited to be part of the Working Group and we are delighted that Stacey, a respected health professional, will represent us in it," Mr Antcliff said. "We expect it will be a great opportunity for knowledge-sharing among the representatives, to the benefit of all."

Mrs Bradshaw said she was looking forward to getting started.

"It is a privilege to have been considered for, and subsequently appointed to, this International Expert Group," Mrs Bradshaw said. "I have always been passionate about working with fellow therapists to improve patient outcomes and I am excited to do this on a larger platform that promises to help a bigger group of people."
