EOIs for Compression Therapy Committee now open

Expressions of Interest in joining the Wounds Australia Compression Therapy Committee are now open to our members. 

The European Wound Management Association (EWMA) Compression Therapy Knowledge Centre aims to create awareness of the optimal use of compression therapy in leg ulcer management. Wounds Australia is represented on EWMA's Compression Therapy International Expert Group by Wounds Australia member, Occupational Therapist and Accredited Lymphoedema Therapist Stacey Bradshaw. 

We are seeking Expressions of Interest to join a Committee chaired by Ms Bradshaw that will provide advice, guidance and recommendations to the CEO of Wounds Australia, and support Mrs Bradshaw's work with EWMA. 

About the Committee

The Compression Therapy Committee will identify and develop resources for training and education and awareness campaigns in compression therapy, undertake relevant projects, and represent Wounds Australia as required. The Committee will be appointed by and accountable to the CEO. 

Appointments are for two years and open to Full Members of Wounds Australia. Attendees will be required to attend quarterly online meetings and contribute regularly to work and discussions between meetings.
