 Wound Awareness Week

A huge thank you to everyone who supported Wound Awareness Week 2024. Whether you hosted a morning tea, took to social media, watched and shared our videos and factsheets, or attended a Lunch Bytes webinar: we are grateful for your support.

A special thank you to the week's sponsors, Smith+Nephew, Mölnlycke and Solventum, for their ongoing commitment to shining a spotlight on Australia's hidden epidemic of chronic wounds. You'll find a wrap-up of the week's events in our news centre.

 Wounds Australia 5 Point Plan

A foundation for change
Wounds Australia Board Director and Ambassador Professor Fiona Wood AO launched the
Wounds Australia 5 Point Plan for Solving Australia's Chronic Wound Epidemic at the National Press Club during Wound Awareness Week. The plan describes our vision for good quality, cost-effective wound care that puts people at the heart of our health and aged care systems. If you haven't already done so, we encourage you to explore it today.
