With more than 12 years' experience in Business Advisory, Simon has acquired a range of experience from managing within one of the big four accounting firms and a boutique tax firm. Simon specialises in business advisory services, international taxation and financial accounting. 

Simon's experience has been acquired across several states in Australia, as well as internationally, having held a management position in Hong Kong. 

Areas of expertise: Business and Industry Benchmarking, Australian and International Taxation, Financial Accounting, Superannuation Estate Planning, Cross Border SMEs, Global Expats, Entrepreneur, China market entry, Trusts - domestic and offshore.

Dr Kopecki is Channel 7 Children's Research Foundation Mid-Career Fellow in Childhood Wound Infections at University of South Australia where he leads a team of staff and students developing novel approaches for management of wound infection. He is an established Research Leader in area of wound healing, skin blistering and regenerative medicine. His research is focused on therapy development using preclinical models of wound healing and infection providing a platform for testing of novel theragnostic wound dressings, antimicrobial dermal substitutes, and pharmacological and material delivery systems aimed at improving the quality of life for patients with chronic wounds.

Zlatko is a Vice President of the Australasian Wound and Tissue Repair Society and Vice Chair of DEBRA Australia. He collaborates extensively with industry partners to translate research and deliver impact, most notably with establishment of a national in-home nurse program for patients with Epidermolysis Bullosa, which was one of the key studies informing the development of Clinical Practice Guidelines. 

Zlatko is a joint Editor-in-Chief of the Wounds Australia Wound Practice and Research Journal, highlighting his commitment to high quality research and education in area of wound management.

Kerry has worked across the acute and subacute sectors, and both public and private health care settings, for almost 30 years as a clinician and as a health care executive. Her consistent focus has been on the delivery of evidence-based care, aligned with the best possible patient and family experience. The mission of Wounds Australia – to heal wounds together, to ensure we support clinicians to continue to improve the lives of people living with wounds - is one that resonates strongly with Kerry.

Her professional qualifications include a Bachelor of Podiatry, a Graduate Diploma in Vocational Education and Training, a Master of Gerontology, and an Executive MBA (Distinction). 

Kerry is driven to find and grow the health care leaders of tomorrow and to support them in their own personal and professional learning. 

Throughout her career she has gained extensive expertise in governance and advocacy. She was an inaugural member of the Wounds Australia Board as Deputy Chair, is Deputy Chair of the Wounds Australia 2024 Conference Committee, has been an active member of the Victorian Clinical Council Executive and is a current ministerial appointment to the Health Complaints Commissioner Advisory Council. 

Christina has contributed to four book chapters, published 34 peer reviewed journal articles and presented 38 oral or poster conference presentations (13 internationally and 25 nationally), including ten as invited speaker. 

Robyn Rayner RN, BSc (Nsg), Post grad (Hlth Admin), Master (Wound Care), PhD. is a clinical nurse with Silverchain, an adjunct Research Fellow with Curtin University Perth, WA, and a Sessional Teaching Associate with Monash University.

Robyn has written numerous articles and is the recipient of numerous awards. She was a 2019 finalist in the WA Nursing & Midwifery Excellence Award for Research and was the winner of the 2022 Coloplast Biatain® Literary Award of the original research article in the journal of Wound Practice and Research. 

Robyn had the distinct honour to be invited to attend the University of Tokyo, Global Nursing Research Center Summer Program in 2018. She has been a member of Wounds Australia for many years, since its inception as the Australian Wound Management Association, and a board member for the journal of Wound Practice and Research. In addition, she has a keen interest in education and a commitment to research.

Fiona Wood has been a burns surgeon and researcher for over 30 years, and is Director of the Burns Service of WA (BSWA). She pioneered the innovative 'spray-on skin' technique, is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Fiona Stanley Hospital and Perth Children's Hospital, and the Winthrop Professor in the School of Surgery at The University of Western Australia. She co-founded the first skin cell laboratory in WA and the Fiona Wood Foundation (formerly The McComb Foundation). 

Fiona was named a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in 2003 and promoted to Officer of the Order of Australia in 2024. In 2004, she was the Western Australian Citizen of the Year for her contribution to Medicine in the field of burns research. Fiona was named Australian of the Year in 2005, and is an Australian Living Treasure. She is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Health and Medical Science.
